Sunday, April 14, at GSLC: If we could gather on a beach, we would! Instead, we'll hear about Jesus making breakfast on the beach for his disciples after his resurrection. Worship begins at 9 AM and will also be livestreamed on our website. Sunday School, Dwelling Together Small Group, and Adult Forum will round out the morning at 10:15 AM. #elca #champaignurbana

It is with both deep sorrow and great hope in the resurrection that we share the news of Shirley Swanson's death. Please keep Deb and the whole family in your prayers. Arrangements are still being decided and we will share details once we know them through appropriate channels.
Almighty God, source of all mercy and giver of comfort, graciously tend those who mourn, that casting all their sorrow on you, they may know the consolation of your love. Good Shepherd, enfold Shirley with your tender care, that she might see You face to face and rejoice in Your presence forever. Amen.

Thank you to everyone who made our Easter celebration wonderful! Our choir and choir director Julia, our bell ringers and director Kara; our music staff Linda and Fenella; all the folks who read or assisted during Holy Week Worship; our Discipleship volunteers who organized the Egg Hunt; the folks who made coffee and brought donuts; our nursery worker Ray; our livestream guru Darrell; Dan and Tori who made the large cross; everyone who decorated or provided flowers for Easter; Traci who put together all the worship bulletins; our acolytes and ushers and greeters and check-in folks; and everyone who lifted their voices in song and bowed their heads in prayer.
