Join us for Adult Forum! Adult Forum meets this Sunday, 10:30-11:30AM in the Choir Room. Dean Hull from Thrivent will talk about charity partnerships. Next week: Church in the Age of Social Media (Susan Barreto).

PUMPKIN FUNDRAISER

Members of all ages are welcome to help sell pumpkins to support our youth trips, retreats, and service projects. All you have to do is sign up on the bulletin board at church for time slots that fit your schedule and the pumpkins sell themselves! You can also sign up online using this link. Contact Jason with any questions or ideas regarding this fundraiser. We have an urgent need for people to sell pumpkins this weekend. Please consider helping with this fundraiser.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF

Help WELCA FILL THE TRUCK for Lutheran World Relief!
Good Shepherd is once again hosting an InGathering for Lutheran World Relief. We are a Central Illinois drop-off location for the semi-truck that transports the personal care kits, school kits, quilts, etc. We need ABLE BODIES to load boxes, and we need SNACKS AND GREETERS.

FALL CLEAN UP DAY

Saturday, October 26, 8:30-11:00AM
The Property Committee will be hosting our fall clean up day. Coffee and doughnuts in the morning and brats and chips around 11:00. Bring a pair of work gloves.

HOPS & HYMNS

Riggs 1901 S. High Cross Rd., Urbana, IL.
It’s a Reformation Celebration for Hops and Hymns! Join us on Reformation Sunday for an evening of singing all of our favorite hymns. While this is hosted by the area ELCA Lutheran Churches, this is a public event and all are welcome regardless of age, faith, or singing ability. Riggs has an outdoor play area so children are welcome to come and play. Or, if your family is made up of fur babies, dogs are welcome to come as well. We will be in the party porch, so there will be plenty of seating as we open into the outdoor space.

-Dress Pants and Blue Jeans (Blue Jeans seem to be preferred) Sizes: Waist 34-40
-Long and Short Sleeve Shirts Sizes: 3X and 4X
-Sweatshirts Sizes: Large to 4X
-Coats (Zip up jackets or winter coats, not dress coats) Sizes: Large to 4X
