COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES

The care packages for our college students will be mailed next week. This is your last chance to add something to their boxes! We have a total of 15 packages being mailed. Please put your items in the boxes before Worship service this Sunday.

ADULT FORUM

Join us for Adult Forum! Adult Forum meets this Sunday, 10:30-11:30AM in the Choir Room. Carla Rush will present on Secrets of El Salvador Part 2: Visiting as a Seminarian. She will speak about El Salvador from her experiences traveling the country on a seminary trip. Next week: Visitors from the Coptic Christian Church.

PUMPKIN FUNDRAISER

Members of all ages are welcome to help sell pumpkins to support our youth trips, retreats, and service projects. All you have to do is sign up on the bulletin board at church for time slots that fit your schedule and the pumpkins sell themselves! You can also sign up online using this link. Contact Jason with any questions or ideas regarding this fundraiser.

FLANNEL FEST!

Friday, October 11, 5-9PM Hessel Park
Families with kids of all ages can break out their flannel shirts and watch the Timberwork’s Lumberjack Show perform demonstrations like log rolling, axe throwing, and speed carving. Enjoy music, art, games, crafts, and food trucks.

K-5th grade from 3-5 pm
6th – 12th grade from 6-8 pm
Bring the whole family and enjoy a hay ride, pedal cars, reindeer tour, paintball gallery, or try your hand at the giant corn maze. Good Shepherd will cover the cost of these activities if your family contacts Jason ahead of time.

The clothing closet inventory is getting low on the following donated items:
-Dress Pants and Blue Jeans (Blue Jeans seem to be preferred) Sizes: Waist 34-40
-Long and Short Sleeve Shirts Sizes: 3X and 4X
-Sweatshirts Sizes: Large to 4X
-Coats (Zip up jackets or winter coats, not dress coats) Sizes: Large to 4X
