GOD'S WORK. OUR HANDS.

This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.

Why just one day, when we can make it a whole WEEK of service for our neighbors!

Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

If you are interested in being a Team Leader for a service activity during the week of September 8-14, please email Agatha Barnes (agathak6@gmail.com) or Patty Hart (cookiedunker@comcast.com) by August 25. Choose an activity you would like to lead, the day, time and how many volunteers you would like to serve with you. Once we have 10-15 Team Leaders for service activities, we will open it up to the rest of the congregation to be part of your team!

Service activities can be as simple as making a food delivery through Empty Tomb, or organizing a car wash!
